Summer 2022 Internship

Tony for Wisconsin is looking for highly motivated individuals who will work 20 hours per
week, in-person, during the summer of 2022. This internship is an excellent opportunity for
those interested in learning more about the inner workings of a statewide political campaign
organization. The 2022 Wisconsin Gubernatorial race will be one of the top targeted Governor’s
races in the country.

Location: Campaign Office in Madison, WI
Salary: $1,200/month, can also be done for credit if approved by your university or college
Dates: May 16, 2022- August 26, 2022

Responsibilities

• Work with the finance team and assist with donor prospecting, data management,
  planning and execution of campaign events, and other administrative tasks
• Help coordinate communications with supporters and donor acknowledgments
• Complete projects in the communications, digital, operations, political, and research
  departments
• Assist in the office with tasks including direct voter contact, mail processing, and more

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Interest in learning more about campaign finance, operations, and more
• Ability to handle confidential matters and information
• Attention to detail and interest in further developing research and voter outreach skills
• Cultural Competency – able to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues,
  voters, and volunteers who identify as BIPOC and across lines of difference
• Dedication to supporting the mission and values of the Evers Administration
