Gov. Tony Evers is doing the right thing for Waukesha County and all of Wisconsin. Under his leadership, 137 Waukesha County small businesses have opened their doors or expanded and Waukesha County businesses have received an additional 9,547 grants to help pay bills, stock shelves, hire employees, and more. Gov. Evers has also delivered on his promise to do what’s best for our kids by directing $7,936,513 in additional funding to Waukesha County schools. He has made meaningful investments in public safety, and directed $1,060,560 in funding to help prevent violence and address crime in Waukesha County. Across Wisconsin, Gov. Evers continues to deliver results. 86% of Wisconsinites have received a 15% income tax cut or more, unemployment is at historic lows, and our schools are ranked among the top 10 in the nation. Gov. Evers has brought Republicans and Democrats together to do the right thing for communities and families in Waukesha County, and he’s just getting started.

Gov. Evers has worked to bring much-needed funding to local communities across the state and support local efforts to address the opioid epidemic. In July 2021, the governor hosted a press conference in Waukesha County announcing a law directing a larger share of money towards local governments to help combat the opioid epidemic.
