Press Releases ICYMI: “Doing the Right Thing” Tour Continues As Tony Evers and Sara Rodriguez Campaign All Across Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. — Governor Tony Evers, State Representative and candidate for Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, and Attorney General Josh Kaul marked their second day of the “Doing the Right Thing” tour with stops in La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Somerset. 

Gov. Evers, State Rep. Rodriguez, and AG Kaul kicked off Day 2 of the tour in La Crosse with State Sen. Brad Pfaff, the winner of Tuesday’s 3rd CD Democratic primary. They spoke to Wisconsinites about growing the state’s workforce and filling jobs, supporting small businesses, and protecting marriage equality.

On their next stop in Eau Claire, Gov. Evers, State Rep. Rodriguez, AG Kaul, and State Sen. Pfaff were joined by local legislators, State Sen. Jeff Smith and State Rep. Jodi Emerson. Gov. Evers talked about his record of doing the right thing for Wisconsin through infrastructure investment, expanding high-speed internet access, funding our public schools, protecting healthcare access, and filling jobs.

The day concluded in Somerset, where Gov. Evers, State Rep. Rodriguez, and AG Kaul met with Wisconsinites in the St. Croix County area.
