Republicans are trying to create doubt where there is none, in order to justify radical changes to our state’s election laws. In 2021, Gov. Evers vetoed a set of Republican bills which would have limited voting rights in Wisconsin and curtailed absentee voting. Advocates across the state spoke out strongly against those bills, which would have made it much more difficult for people with disabilities and seniors to vote. [WPR, 8/10/21]
