Thank you to all those who supported Tony Evers in the recent election! With Tony’s leadership, Wisconsin is continuing our tradition of excellence that reflects the values and ideals of Wisconsin citizens and communities.

Tony Evers believes that public schools and libraries are the cornerstones of our democracy and the engine of our economy. Just as our society has changed over the years, so our schools must be transformed to ensure that students are ready for the challenges to come. With his experience as a public school parent, teacher and leader at school, district, regional, state, and national levels, Tony has the openness to new approaches that benefit students, families, teachers, and schools.

As State Superintendent, Tony Evers’ focus is on quality education opportunities for students. Tony knows that when Wisconsin students succeed, Wisconsin succeeds. With a focus on making every child a graduate, Tony is directing his energy to ensure that students have access to quality, rigorous learning whether it is delivered in the classroom, over the Internet, or in the community.

Tony Evers graduated from Plymouth High School and is the proud parent and grandparent of Wisconsin public school students. Shaped by his parents, Ray and Jean Evers, Tony learned the value of service. His wife, Kathy, his children Erin, Nick, and Katie, and his grandchildren have been his source of strength and his inspiration.
